Hi everyone,
I am happy to report that despite a few bumps in the road, I'm safe and sound in the MTC.
My P-Day is Wednesday, but this counts as my email for this week, so you won't be hearing from me until next week.
So, funny story, my plane was super late getting into the gate and I happened to be the only missionary on the flight surprisingly. Then it took an hour and a half or so to get through customs, so by the time i got to the baggage claim I couldn't see any of the other missionaries who had been {way} ahead of me in line. Then, when I got to baggage claim, there was a very nice Delta employee waiting to tell me that my large suitcase was left in Atlanta, so I had to fill out a report for that, and well, one thing lead to another and I could not find anyone who was supposed to pick me up at the airport. So, I was lost and alone in a foreign airport and had to call and ask where someone was. And that's why I'm writing so late. Sorry for worrying you mom. My bag is supposed to get here tomorrow and I most of the stuff I need plus a change of clothes in my other bags.
But it was really cool, I had some great conversations with some people on the plane and in the customs line. The people next to me on the plane were gong to a service mission thing in north mexico so we talked quite a bit of comparison and it lead to some cool questions. Then in the customs line, one of the gentlemen I was standing next to had a cousin whos mormon so we talked quite a bit.
Con mi amor por toda la eternidad,
Hermana Alacyn Rawlings
P.S. You can send me packages here through MissionarypackageMX.com . I don't know how it works becasue I got here so late I missed the schpeil but yeah.
