It's been interestign this past week to have Hermana Salas watching me and I felt so bad because we couldn't go out and work every single hour as hard a I wanted to because of physical limitations. The good news is, she got a lot of time to unpack and study preach my gospel and the missionary handbook hahaha. And my back is back to normal so here´s to gicving this next week our all!
In spite of everything, I felt like we did good work in the time that we could and we saw some really awesome lessons full of the Holy Ghost. Hermana Salas is one of the most consecrated misionaries I've had the pleasure of meeting and she brigns a spiritual punc hwith her to every lessons adn I am absolutely loving teaching at her side.
This week as we were visiting an hermana who has been comig back to the church, Hermana karla, we began to talk somewhat about the desires of our hearts, and she expressed that her deepest want right now is to be able to sealed to her husband. Alhtoguh she has been comign back to church, there is still somethign holding her husband back, leaving Karla to brign her three little ones, ages 2, 1, 4 months, pn her own. I coldn't help but feel so much love for her and for her fmaily adn so much admiration for her efforts. Her words also reminded me of how powerful is this message that we share. I don't remeber how the scirpture goes in English (sorry) but Eter 12:4 came into my mind. "De modo que los que crren en Dios pueden tener la firme esperanzaen un mundo mejor, aun un lugar a la diestra de Dios y este viene por la fe y los hace seguras y firmes abundando siempre en buenas obras, siendo ipulsados a glorificar a Dios." I know that If we believe in God, we can have this hope for a better world and we can glorify God despite the hardships that come our way.
This is why I came on a mission - becasue I have so many blessings and I know that whatever trial I face, He will help me through and I can't and won't be satisfied to keep this to myself. I have watched this gospel change the lives of so many people here in Mexico and back home and I LOVE to watch the light of the gospel come into their lives and chnaghe their countence. I testify that this is the true church of Jesu Christ, the only one on the whole face of the earth and the only church that has the full adn complete gosple of Christ and the power and athority of God to realize the ordinances and actions necessary to return bck to the presence of our Loveing Heavenly Father. It is my pleasure and delight to be here and to share this message with everyone I possibly can.
