BUENAS TARDES SOLICITOS!

This week we have seen some pretty awesome miracles!

The inactive faily from thsi past week is progressing really well and came to church this past week too even thogh we couldn't visit them as much as we would have liked whci hwa super awesome.

I also had a neat expereince teaching a man anamd Servando. We've been teachign him for a while and he has always had a (reasonable) excuse to not be able to coem to church and I finally said, okay last lesson and if he doens't commit to comign to church, we're going to have to stop visiting him , or a tleat not as frequently. We started tlakign about faith, and how its a word of action, not just a belief. Your beliefs lead you to ACT and not be acted upon and He didn't understnad that if he wasn't acting then he more or less for all intents and purposes didn't have faith. When we taiught him that and were slightly (very) direct abotu that, he looked at us and said, oay so I need to act and I thoght okay, we're gettign somewhere and we invited him to church again and to have one of the mebers of the ward who was with us to pass by for him in the morning nad he went, okay yeha I need to act of course I'll go this week. you dson't even nee to call me in the morning. And sure enough, there he was at chruch this sunday with the white shirt he had dug out of his closet! I have learned lot here in the mision how to be direct, but to still thin kabot my words before I sya them, whic his somethign I didn't really do very well before. I really hope to continue to better this apect of me to be more Chirst like especially when I teach, but I honestly felt so grateful that Heavenly Father put the words in my mouth that we needed to say when we needed to say them becasue I know that that was not us who finally helped him see his need to go to churchm it wa the spirit.

I testify that God loves us and is so aware of our needs and our prayers. I have seen it time and time and time again here and I love seeign the miracle s that happend when I humble myself and listen to the spirit and then act upon what it is telling me.

Burning Spiritually and Physically!

Didn't you just LOVE conference? I feel like I have gotten much more out of General Coonference here in my time as a missionary. It's literally such a highlight and a spiritual fest. I think my favorite talks were from Jeffrey R. Holland, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Russel M. Nelson, and actually, I can't choose, just all of them. I love what Elder Uchtdorf shared about how to share the gospel, step by step. I also love what was taught about the cvonnection between love and ministering, and I absolutely loved the emphasis on repentace and the Atoning power of Jesus Christ.  Thanks to the goodness of the Bishop, we actually had the opportunity to watch in English usign the computer in the Bishop's office and it was so great to hear the voices of the Apostles and The prophet. It's honestly just so much better when you can actually hear their voice with the intonation and all of that. An boy, was that fun. We might have taken over the office for a short while...
