For those of you who are asking my new area is called
Balderrama and its ridiculously close to the temple but in another zone than
the temple, so I don't see it. Ever. Nah, that's a lie, we had to go this past
week for capacitación and the stake center there is pegado al templo. But,
normally, no I don't see the temple.
My new ward is great, there a lot of members in it that work
in the temple, as in actually making money, and many who serve as temple
workers so that's actually really cool. My Companion's name is Hermana Castro,
she's from Morelos, Mexico and she's super ridiculously awesome.
This past week I had the opportunity to witness a miracle
here, as our hermano Jaimie decided to enter the waters of baptism. He is the
brother of a family where evveryone excet he and his father are members and has
taken the missionary discussions for years, but finally, with the influence of
the spirit, and the temple president (who he works for and is very good friends
with) hedecided friday night to be baptized and was able to reaize this
ordinance WEdnesday. It wasa really goof way to celebrate Halloween hahaha. I
don't have pictures, sorry. His sister has them and she hasn't been able to
send them to us. It was kind of great way to strart the transfer, with all the
excitement and ethusiasm i the world to work!
Its really different to be in a city and not a pueblito and
this area, at least to me and sin bicis, is huge! But it's good, and I like it
here. The areas can change but what you do asa missioanry, your calling and
your purpose, never changes.
I love you all,
Con mi amor eterno,
Hermana Rawlings
P.S: Look who I found! Hermana Rubio, Hermana Gonzalez, and
Hermana Castro. (and actualyl hermana Vasquez and Hemana Rumiche too but they
had to leave early)
