Another great week in Hermosillo

Hey! Sorry about last week, all of tthe cybers were closed. All of them.
So, to catch you up on on the last two weeks - I'm alive, and workign hard, and I love you all. Bye. I'm just kidding, I'm actually going to write today.

This past week we had the great priviledge to watch Julio Cesar descend into the waters of baptism. He's a super powerful young adult who actually found us and basically asked to be baptized. He's been attending insititue for about two months now after several of his good freinds, who are members, invited him to attend Principals of the Restoration. And he loved it. About a month later, we got a text from, one of his friends that basically gave us his address and said He wants you to visit him at 10 AM tomorrow. Bueno, pues, vaminos. About five minutes into the conversation, he already had a baptismal date. It was honestly super cool to watch his conversion process, becasue we prety much only saw the very end of it.

It was honestly a huge testimony that we as members have the responsibility to planat, water and try to help nuture the seeds of others, becasue wthe missioanries are called specifically to reap and harvest those who God, more often than not through their member friends, has already prepared. I can only think of one person in my entire mission who I have watched descend into the baptsimal waters who was not a referral from a member or had several very good member friends. Please, please, please, be examples of the believers and be aware fo those around you, becasue there are so many who are kept from the truth only becasue they know not where to find it. I want to invite every one of you, no matte where you are or what situation you a re in, to invite someone to coem unto Christ this week by inviting them to church or a church activity, talkign to them and sharign yur testimony abbut the Book of Mormon, or invitign them to meet with the missionaries. It is not anough to just talk about the church and the trusth, we must invite all to learn the truth. I know that if we do this, we will be surprised in just how many of our friends are open to learning more and acting on the message we share, and I testify that there is no joy greater than to watch someone you care about begin the journey back home again on the covenant path.

Burning Spiritually and Physically!

Didn't you just LOVE conference? I feel like I have gotten much more out of General Coonference here in my time as a missionary. It's literally such a highlight and a spiritual fest. I think my favorite talks were from Jeffrey R. Holland, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Russel M. Nelson, and actually, I can't choose, just all of them. I love what Elder Uchtdorf shared about how to share the gospel, step by step. I also love what was taught about the cvonnection between love and ministering, and I absolutely loved the emphasis on repentace and the Atoning power of Jesus Christ.  Thanks to the goodness of the Bishop, we actually had the opportunity to watch in English usign the computer in the Bishop's office and it was so great to hear the voices of the Apostles and The prophet. It's honestly just so much better when you can actually hear their voice with the intonation and all of that. An boy, was that fun. We might have taken over the office for a short while...
