Hey Everyone! IT's alsmost CHRISTMAS WOOOOOOO!
I love Chroistmas so muchand it's awesome becasue there are
plenty of events and chrtmas thign sthat memebrs can bring freiends to and so
that's really nice to be able to meet new people to teach them the
Gospel.
THIS SATURDAY I WAS ABLE TO GO TO THE TEMPLE! It was the
first tiem that Julio nad Jaime went to do baptisms for the dead, and it was
our great priviledge to accompany them and dang, I have missed the temple. I
absolutely love the feelign of beign home that you get hwen you step inside.
When asked how he felt i nthe temple, Julio tols us that it felt like beign on
an island away fom the wold and that there was this great feelign of peace and
calm without worldly worries. I can't recalll his exact words but my heart
wasso full of joy that day to be back in the House of My Father and to have the
beloved riedns I have watched make the decisionto be baptized descend again
into the water of baptism, but this time for people on the other side fo the
veil. It also reminded me of just how special the tmeple is, and how sometims
we take it for granted or the thigns become rutine, but ehy are so special
every single time!
Also, on a les seriously note, all pf the missionaries who
were originally assigned to Cuidad Obregon (aka my companion and I) are
freezign up here in Hermosilo. THE PACKIGN LIST FOR U DIDNT TEL US TO BRIGN
ANYTHGIN WARMER THAN A RAIN JACKET AND TWO SWEATERS. I know because I brought
sai packign list with me. But its' all good because a nic older sister inthe
ard gave us jackets that are slightly old fashioned but very warm and another
sister brought us themal undeshirt after realizing we were freezign and today,
por fin. we coudl buy a few other warmer things in the town center. I can't
belive I'm sayign this but I miss the Sonoarna sun.
Con mi amor por la eternidad,
Hermana rawlings
