Another week of miracles

We have even more sister companionships than the kast transfer, we´ve got 3 companionships now, wich doesn´t sound like a lot but it´s a lot for one zone her in this mission. AND ALL OF THEM ARE TRAINING. ALL OF THEM. ALL THE SISTER WHO ARE TRAINING IN THE MISSION RIGHT NOW ARE IN THIS ZONE AND UNDER OUR CARE SO THAT´S ANOTHER THING. And with opening the area, planning the capacitaciones, and also trainign Hermana Lewis in how to be Hermana Capacitadora, and then trying to keep daily contact with my future memebers and the companionships in my care, it´s been interesting, and I feel like I have never had so many thigns to do and such little time to do them all... it´s been a lot. We´re finally gong to start doing intercambios this next week with th sisters, but we´re going to have to double them up in the weeks, because we basically started in thsi area from scratch, ther was like 5 refernces and like 3 investigadores when we got here who didn't want anything to do with us after transfers, and so we felt it was necesaryt o get a foothold in this area and at least get a start so we´re not just purely contacting hte entire day before doing to exchanges and it´s going to be a heck of transfer basically and its goign by so fast, its already week 2 and it´s so freakign weird.

I have never seen so many miracles in two weeks. Literally it´s been miracle after miralce after miracle. We´re teachign people who have flagged us down on the street and begged us to visit them. And this area, which was aupposedly "hard to work with the memebers" we maanged to teach ten enw people this week who are meber references. Obviosuly, it takes more than that to really work with the members and we´re still working on getting to be a more closeknit, shoulder to shoulder thing. Because a lot fo memebers think that missionary work is only for the missionaries, but it´s so not. Nad hten there are those who think that´s it´s "working in the Lord´s Vineyard" to give food and rides to the missionaries, and it´s more than that, or to give them refernces, but its more than that, or to accompany them on visits, but it´s yet even more than that. It´s establish goals for yourself, maybe on a yearly and monthly basis about how much you want to share the gospel and then go out and do it, and then give names and directions to the missionaries and tell them, "I am free at this hour and I will take you and you´re goign to teach, I'll hekp where I can, and I'll committ them at the end and then be there every step of the way helping them keep their comittments and cheering tem on." And that´s when absolute MAGIC happens and the baptism fonts fill up.

ANyway, point is, we´ve seen so many miracles in these weeks. MIRACLES: and it´s been super awesome, and I can´t say that all I´m tryign to do is kep my head above wter but that´s ot true because I´m not trying to do that, I´m trying to trust in the Lord enough to be able to walk on the water.

Love you,

Burning Spiritually and Physically!

Didn't you just LOVE conference? I feel like I have gotten much more out of General Coonference here in my time as a missionary. It's literally such a highlight and a spiritual fest. I think my favorite talks were from Jeffrey R. Holland, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Russel M. Nelson, and actually, I can't choose, just all of them. I love what Elder Uchtdorf shared about how to share the gospel, step by step. I also love what was taught about the cvonnection between love and ministering, and I absolutely loved the emphasis on repentace and the Atoning power of Jesus Christ.  Thanks to the goodness of the Bishop, we actually had the opportunity to watch in English usign the computer in the Bishop's office and it was so great to hear the voices of the Apostles and The prophet. It's honestly just so much better when you can actually hear their voice with the intonation and all of that. An boy, was that fun. We might have taken over the office for a short while...
