Last email

So, as my mission rapidly comes to a close and in this my last and ultimate testament, er, email, I just wnt to to more than anythigns share my testimony.  I Know that Jesus Christ lives. He is my Savior and my Redeemer and I love Him with all my heart. He has blessed me immensely in so many ways I cannot count both in my life nad in these past eighteen months I have had to serve Him. I have treid to give back a little of what He has given to me, but I have come to uinderstand that I can never ever repay Him becasue He has lliterally made everthing, everythigns possible for me. He gave His life for me, He suffered on Calvary and in Gethsmane and every momnet in between adn He did it just for me. He would have dne it if it was just me who needed saving, but I i'm not the only one lost in this weorld. We ALL need Him and we are ALL debtors. Every pain, every sunburn and blister and rejection I have faced in these last preciosu months is nothign compared to what He sufferes, but, ...

Hey Everyone

So, neat experience this past week. As my companion adn I were discussing how to improve and work more effectively in our area, my companion felt the need to visit the mother of some recent converts that she had been teachign some time ago but had some dificulties nad stopped recieveing the missionaries. When we went back, she informed us that she had begu to pray and was making an attempt to read the Bible, but that she didn't understnad too mcuh of what it was saying. We then offered her a Book of Mormon and bore witness of its truthfulness and well, she's been reading tthe Book of Mormon and maybe nt understandin geeryhign, but at least allowign the atoning power of Jesus Christ to enter into her life. I love when the Lord does these things. There's a aparable that I really like, called the seed that grows secretly, in which Jeus explains that a man plants a seed, goes to sleep and leaves it, and in the morning, the seed has sprouted and the man knows not how.   More o...

Insert Title Here aka when you have written way to many letters and no longer iknow what to title them all aka what happens with a month left in the mission aka AAAAAHHH

This week, we had the great opportunity to wach of little friedn Valeria descend ino thte waters of baptism. It was a cute and fun expereince, more than anything because she is deathly afraid of water and suuuuper shy on top of it all. Not a great combination for a baptismal service, but Valeria had and has a great desire to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and follow in His footsteps, and with great courage, although trembling forom head to toe, she let Elder Barker guide her into the water. After a few minutes of trying and mustering up her courage, Valeria allowed herself to be immersed in the water and was able to be baptized. It was such a sweet experience becasue here is this liitle 11 year old, determination and bravery set in her face, and even though she was terrified and shaking, she knew what she was doign and knew why she was doing it and understood the eternal consequences that this ordinance has in her life.  As misionaries, baptism is our purpose. We invite all to...
