The work in Huatabampo continues

The work in Huatabampo continues as always and this week we put our focus on trying to help all of the Lord's children come back home. I've really seen this week how wonderful is the knowledge of the plan of Salvation that we have throught the book of mormon and modern day revelation. Do you guys remeber Juan, the young adult who we contacted becasue he and I have the same backpack? He's very interested in the church, but his mom, the few tmes we have talked to her, has not been interested at all. AS we spoke to her, she told us that her parents had both died more than 15 years ago adn the spirit guided the conversation to the question of "where are your parents right now?". We had the grand priviledge to testify that God is a merciful God who gives us more than one chance to repent and to teach about the ...

Getting back to normal

It's been interestign this past week to have Hermana Salas watching me and I felt so bad because we couldn't go out and work every single hour as hard a I wanted to because of physical limitations. After several days of beign stubborn, we finaly went ot get my back checked out and I am on my second to last day of taking some solid meds.I promise I feel signifigantly better and am obeying doctors orders and not doign anythign too dumb. Hermana Gonzales and I decided that Satan really wanted to try to mess up our week.  The reason I tell you all this is becasue this past week, we actually saw a lot of miracles althoguh we couldn't work too well for part of the week.
