I got to sleep in a hospital this week

So this will be short, sorry not sorry. Fun fact- I got to sleep in a hospital this week!  My companion had an allergic reaction (to what we have o clue still) adn went itno anafalxic shock in the middle of a lesson with a recent convert. But her's a list of miracles that happened: 1. we were teachign someoen woth a car (whcih is ver, very, very ,rare) 2. there was a clinic super close 3. they were able to get here stable-ish pretty quick with an iv and hidrocortizon and all 4. afte she was stable, I had my ersoal card with me ( i literally never carry it with me) and was acle to pay for the medicin eused in the clinic 5. she started shakign uncontrollabely with fever and the elders got hter ad geave her a blessin and the shakign autocmatically stopped which brigns us to miracle numbe 6. theyr were also with a member who has a car 7. so they got htere super fast 8. and they had their oil with them 9. after she was stable, members were able to call (and...

PODERSOS PUEBLITOS

Hey everyone, Everythings great here in Sonora. The sun has started to come out again and I we've been able to just wear sweaters. Which is nice. I don't why I feel like I give you all a weather report instead of an email sometimes... whoops.  Sorry about last week, it was yet another holiday and I couldn't write, but everythigns been all good here and somethign this week I almsot forgot to send out this letter, so please forgive it'll be short.  It's been fun because seriously every day we learn just how big our area is. OUr 6 page map has nothing on how big the distances actually are. Like, for example, this past week we had last minute  changes to our lunch plas, and so we in what is basicallt he iddle sof our area. Twenty minutes later, in bus mind you, we called the siter and she went, oh goondess, you are still super far. Yep, we got ther like, another half hour lter (half of it walking) and partly because she came to get is in her car because sh...

Another week of miracles

We have even more sister companionships than the kast transfer, we´ve got 3 companionships now, wich doesn´t sound like a lot but it´s a lot for one zone her in this mission. AND ALL OF THEM ARE TRAINING. ALL OF THEM. ALL THE SISTER WHO ARE TRAINING IN THE MISSION RIGHT NOW ARE IN THIS ZONE AND UNDER OUR CARE SO THAT´S ANOTHER THING. And with opening the area, planning the capacitaciones, and also trainign Hermana Lewis in how to be Hermana Capacitadora, and then trying to keep daily contact with my future memebers and the companionships in my care, it´s been interesting, and I feel like I have never had so many thigns to do and such little time to do them all... it´s been a lot. We´re finally gong to start doing intercambios this next week with th sisters, but we´re going to have to double them up in the weeks, because we basically started in thsi area from scratch, ther was like 5 refernces and like 3 investigadores when we got here who didn't want anything to do with us after ...

Working hard in my new Area

Hi Everyone, So as predicted, I have learned somethign fascinating this week, that is completely possible to be on your feet all day, without sitting for basically any reason. I'm kidding, we were able to sit down and teach, but yes, it's been a lot of contacting and learnign the area. I have become a master at usign our six page map to figure out where the hec we are and how to get to the next place, which has been good for me be able to visualize and memorize the area.  As we've been meeting lots of new peopel this past week, it's been interstign to ask the Lord for help in findign the peopel that HE is preparing here in this area, and we had a super cool experience with that on Friday. We had been looking more than anythgin, for families to teach, and so we had been praying all week for a family of 5, with 2 sons, and 1 daughter who were ready to hear the Gospel, who want to go to chuirch and were ready to make covenants with God, but we stil hadn't fou...
